I am trained in General Swedish Massage, as well as Indie Head Massage. I have experience in treating people of all shapes and ages, and love to help clients reduce their stress and anxiety!

This light to moderate pressure pain-free treatment is all about you, restoring mental clarity & stability, supporting your body to enter a state of resting & healing, & manually decreasing whole body tension - on your time, in a safe space. It feels amazing & does wonders for the mind & body!
Wellness massages include a variety of therapeutic modalities as part of the treatment, such as hot & cold towels, mini cold stones, & aromatherapy!
The art of Ayurvedic/Indie Massage has its roots in Ayurveda (India). It is simply a relaxation massage sequence that focuses on the face, head, neck, shoulders, & arms using a wide variety of massage techniques! It includes a hair oil treatment!
The mind-body connection facilitated by the central nervous system is intricate & amazing! There is much to be said about taking care of both our mind & our body on our journey to whole body wellness! We have two main branches of our nervous system - sympathetic & parasympathetic! The parasympathetic nervous system is our "rest & digest", while the sympathetic is responsible for the "fight or flight" response. When we are experiencing internal or external stressors that the body perceives as dangerous, our sympathetic nervous system will send signals to release "stress" hormones. Relaxation/Wellness massage helps decrease the firing of the sympathetic nervous system & awaken the parasympathetic nervous system! It's then that we can BEST heal, rejuvenate, carry out important bodily functions, regulate blood pressure, relieve feelings of anxiousness, stress & worry, & generally feel "well". It is also important in decreasing the perception of pain which happens in the brain.
